A Sad Farewell to Ian Liston

Ian Liston, most well known for his role as an unnamed At-At gunner in Episode V, has tragically passed away.

Ian was born on August 4th, 1948 in Crosby, England. A respectable actor, Liston was also well known by Sci-fi fans for his role in the earlier Doctor who instalments.

Making numerable appearances at various conventions, Ian truly was a lover of his work.

It was announced with a heavy heart that he had in fact lost his long battle with prostate cancer, on the 5th October 2016.

Ian had undergone numerous experimental treatments, that despite failed to save him, did prolong the time he had left with his family and loved ones.

It was released, Jedi-news.com has revealed, that he would have liked to thank the Royal Marsden Hospital and acknowledge their work, which can hopefully go on to help so many others from this terrible illness.
