Princess Leia, Galactic Senator for Alderaan and head of the Rebel Alliance, has married noted serial killer, Jason Voorhees, in a small ceremony in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent.
The ceremony was attended by some of their closest friends and acquaintances, including Batman, Captain Jack Sparrow, Supergirl, Robin Hood, Thor and Cruella de Vil.
The couple met in Newcastle almost 10 years ago and had their first date in the Bulls Head pub. They originally planned on getting married a few years ago, but with Leia fighting the Galactic Empire and Jason's work commitments at Camp Crystal Lake, they just could not find the time. In the end, they decided to have a joint celebration for Leia's 40th birthday and arranged the wedding in only two weeks.
After the ceremony, they partied with around 20 guests back at their home in Clayton.
