If you missed out on attending Celebration VI in Florida in August, there is no need to turn to the Dark Side. During the closing ceremonies, it was announced that Celebration Europe II will be held in Germany in 2013.
The event will be held between July 26th and July 28th 2013 at Messe Essen in North-West Germany. Whilst tickets are not yet on sale and no special guests have been announced, hopeful attendees can keep up to date with all the news at the Celebration II Official Website
Since beginning in 1999, Star Wars Celebration has become the ultimate Star Wars fan gathering. The estimated attendence of the very first Celebration in Denver, Colorado was 20,000 people and it has grown from there.
This years Celebration VI was held in Orlando, Florida in August. It featured many familiar faces from the Star Wars Universe, including Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Anthony Daniels. It also marked the first American Celebration attended by the evil Emperor himself, Ian McDiarmid. Even George Lucas made a special surprise appearance, despite the fact he had not been scheduled to attend.
