A new campaign by Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has been launched to highlight awareness of disabled access in shops and restaurants.
The Equality Act of 2010 states that service providers must not treat people with disabilities less favourably if they are accompanied by an assistance dog.
Unfortunately, 80% of hearing dog recipients have been refused entry to a shop, hotel or restaurant.
"Who Lets The Dogs In" is designed to raise awareness of access issues and encourage businesses to pledge that they will allow all assistance dogs entry onto their premises.
