American Shocktrooper Adventures

On a recent trip to the States, one of our customers, Rob, decided to document his journey in a very special way. Here is his story....

I was travelling to the US for a roadtrip. After checking out the route we were taking in more detail, I realised we would be passing by several locations used in Star Wars.

Never one to turn down a troop, I picked up a couple of Black Series Stormtrooper figures and painted them up to look like myself and my friend Stuart in our Shocktrooper kits.

Our min-troopers then posed in a lot of the places where bits of the films were shot like Endor and Tatooine (the Grand Canyon stood in for green screen overlay footage in the Episode I podrace scene). At times they drew quite a crowd!
